Cardamom and Cedar Soap
Cardamom and Cedar Soap
This is one of our newest goat milk soaps, but has been a definite local favorite! Cardamom and Cedar are more grounding to me than traditionally recommend scents like lavender or chamomile - I feel so at home in the woods. Cardamom is a spice I use daily in my kitchen, and it is found in a lot of Portland bakery treats. It's no wonder this has been so well loved!
This vegetarian goat milk soap contains ethically sources micas. We would never knowingly support companies that use forced or child labor in the mining of micas or other ingredients.
Our soap base includes olive oil, organic coconut oil, organic sunflower oil, shea butter, cocoa butter, and organic castor oil. The swirl you see in this cold processed soap is called a 'hanger swirl,' one of my favorite techniques for creating surprising designs in our artisanal soap.
Soap Care
All soap likes air on all sides! Use our beautiful soaps with a nice, elevated soap tray or on a shower rack. Soap is a salt and will melt into a goopy mess if given the opportunity. If you let the bar dry and air out between uses, it will last a good long while and maintain it's hardness!
